Personal essays about how I find the strength to heal from trauma by tuning into my body.

(and some other essays about other stuff)

As seen in (and heard on)

So many of us have a heavy past we want to be at peace with. Maybe we come from toxic environments, or broken foundations. Maybe life has beaten us down, and we have become disconnected from our purpose, our light.

We go to great lengths and change who we are to find a sense of belonging, to fit in. Meanwhile, all we manage to do is to lose ourselves even more.

I spent the majority of my life trying to please others so I could find myself in their acceptance. None of it ever worked.

After years of feeling lost, I began to build from the outside in. I began to use movement to strengthen my body which strengthened my soul and got me the courage to own my voice.

Today, I want my stories to inspire people to be who they are, own their story, their voice, and their body. Above all, I want to move people and encourage them to let their light shine.
